This is easy.
Under EXECUTABLE TO LAUNCH, instead of making a path to Everquest.exe, path it to eqgame.exe
And voila! It works! |

well i tried the bpp solution, and i tried the custom ui to default solution, but i'm still crashing. i can't even load eq (not eqw) normally.
it always crashes right after the character select when i click on 'enter world', it loads for a while then dumps me to desktop with no message. all this started after i tried to load up two characters in two windows. |

I did what Xxaiver of Brell said to do and it worked perfectly. |

I also did exactly what Xxavier of Brell suggested, except I had different resolutions that I was using, I still just set them to 0 and the program works fine now. [/quote] |

I used your suggestion to reset the eqw.ini screen sizes to 0, and more auto-minimize to my desktop after server select.

| I tried many of the different things suggested in the posts. Changed UI to Default, went from 32 to 16-bit, and switched EQW from everquest.exe to eqgame.exe. Still can't get it to work....should I re-install regular EQ and EQW? |

|
|
| I am looking for some help with running EQW with the graphics and character models on one account and off on the other. I am not sure if this can be done but I had some ideas and was hoping someone out here is doing this already. Two things I have considered. I currently have EQW running from 2 different file names is there something i can change easily enough someplace so each EQW will look in the right directories or option 2 if I have partitioned HD's can I just install EQ 1 on each partition and have it work. If this is not possible I guess I will just have to bite the bullet but I am hoping something works. |
